Took some shots today with a Hoya Polarizing Filter (49mm) and I figured out how to actually use it to good effect to boost the colours and reduce glare. I am happy.

The Five Tunnels Cache

My first foray into the world of placing a Geocache came in the form of the ‘Five Tunnels’ Geocache. Except it is not near the 5 tunnels as we couldn’t find a spot. It was fun setting it up, getting permission for the site so the moderator would actually allow me to list it and getting the three finders within one day. Very pleased. Will set some of these up again.
My favourite find story so far is from DaftHead:
Was going for 1st to find as no logs had been posted but I knew it was too good to be true.
Coordinates were a bit out, probably because of tree cover and mother Dafthead found it (bless her she’s 72) She was chuffed to bits with herself as although she’s been with us on several finds now, it’s the first one she’s actually found by herself. Now she reckons she wants her own username and account – how the heck is she going to find them on her own? Oh well, if it keeps her happy!
This page will be updated soon.

Sunspel – Amazing
I have just purchased one of their polo shirts – amazing quality. If it is good enough for James Bond is is much to good for me. I was right.

Comment of the Week
Harriet Harman seems to believe that ‘positive discrimination’ is the way forward. Really. She’s as bad as Hitler.

Blog Renewed
I have renewed the blog for another year. However it does seem that I lack the time to update it as much as I want to. Always doing uni work with no time for a good written rant to get off my chest. I want to try and produce a new direction on the blog to show my university progress as stated previously – I believe this will have to be largely photographic as of now.
The rants will of course still come when they need to, but most posts will be photographic. Also I am going to try and redefine my commenting system as the spam is past a joke.
