The pain and suffering of the long hours and little sleep has all been worth it as I have been awarded a first class degree in architecture after three years. A good start to a very long time to go.
If you want to follow the half marathon (and myself in it) tomorrow then you can watch it on Channel 5 starting at 9.45. Or you can come down to the event (here in the information: http://www.greatrun.org/events/Information.aspx?ctid=288&id=14) and watch one of the world greatest athletes, Haile Gebrselassie reaching over halfway by the time I even pass the starting line!
I am in the green wave (starting at 10.30) with the number 13159 – with the giant Ross and Alzheimer’s Society plastered all over me. The race truly is ‘Limitless.’
If you wish to sponsor me then you can visit – http://www.justgiving.com/Ross-Hetherington or Text – ENJT65 then amount to 70070.
Thank you to everyone who has given me support over my training and in the coming days for the race.
